Chemical Exposures

As a result of a chemical exposure incident (ie: hazardous material spill) Parkview Occupational Health is here to answer questions and help treat employees that may have been exposed.  Offering convenient clinic times and locations, Parkview Occupational Health will help you remain compliant with federal guidelines regarding chemical exposures and surveillance. We offers chemical exposure and surveillance testing on employees to ensure their recovery back to optimum health.

Chemical exposures will require an evaluation by the provider to determine if additional procedures should be performed, such as physical exams, x-rays and pulmonary function testing.

Chemical Surveillance

Surveillance is the monitoring of an otherwise healthy employee to determine if hazardous materials are affecting their health Monitoring after a specific exposure will depend on the employer and the hazardous material being monitored. Hazardous materials will require different testing.  .  This surveillance may also require additional testing such as physical exams, x-rays and pulmonary function testing.

Check federal guidelines for your organization to see what testing is required at www.osha.gov.
