Working with hazardous materials can be a dangerous job. Parkview Occupational Health has developed a program to monitor those who work with hazardous materials. This program involves an annual exam and blood work to help determine if levels within the blood and body have risen over time. Annual exams can also include a respiratory physical, pulmonary function test, OSHA questionnaire and a chest X-ray.
In order to accurately test your employees, our medical staff will need a Materials Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). If employees happen to be exposed to hazardous materials, the Parkview Occupational Health medical director will perform a complete medical history and dictate a letter outlining results to the employer.
