Parkview Occupational Health has an extensive and state-of-the-art hearing conservation program. Performing over 5,000 audiograms each year, we are the experienced leader in audiograms. All tests are reviewed by our board certified occupational health physicians.
Audiograms should be performed for individuals who:
- Works in an environment where the noise sometimes exceeds 90 decibels
- Transfers into a job environment where the noise sometimes exceeds 90 decibels
- Experienced ear injuries or trauma to the ear
- Has a job description that requires acute listening
- Developed noticeable hearing changes
- Has ringing or tones in ears
The first audiogram performed on an employee is considered a “baseline measure.” This audiogram is used to measure against any future hearing loss. When an audiogram is performed, Parkview Occupational Health ensure accurate results by following a detailed process.
